Give Me A Chance is a horse, donkey, pony and mule rescue organization located in central Arkansas. We are eager to let you know what we are doing for the equines in our care. We also want you to know how you can help us rescue starved and abused equines and place the animals in loving homes.
Give Me A Chance Equine Rescue was created in November 2003 for the purpose of rescuing abused and neglected equines. Since that time, we have rehabilitated and adopted out more than 300 horses, donkeys, ponies and mules. We have since added our Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Program to move former racehorses into new homes and careers.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is staffed entirely by volunteers. All contributions are tax-deductible.
We rely completely upon donations, adoption fees and fund-raisers to support the equines. Our monthly feed bill averages $2,500, depending on the number of horses at the farm and what condition they are in. Of course, we also must pay for salt and supplements, farrier fees, veterinary care, Coggins testing, vaccinations and medical supplies.
Donations of grain, hay, and/or the money to pay for them are desperately needed. Please help us continue to rescue starving and abused horses.

Sarah and Rapunzel
Give Me A Chance Equine Rescue accepts horses regardless of the condition of their health. Sarah and Rapunzel are just two examples of how GMACER rehabilitates horses that come to us in starvation condition.

More horses need the care we provided for Sarah. Another example is Rapunzel. This picture was taken when Rapunzel came to GMACER in November 2005 as a starvation case.
